25th Anniversary of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Systems

On May 2, 2024, the Faculty of Information Technologies and Systems of ChDTU celebrated its 25th anniversary and 35 years since the launch of the «Electronic Computing Machines» program. Despite the difficult circumstances caused by the war, faculty members and students emphasized the vital role of IT specialists in protecting the country in the information space.
Today, the FITIS Faculty comprises six departments providing training in computer engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, and other areas. The event featured speeches by the Dean Anatolii Chepynoha, First Vice-Rector Artem Honcharov, and Vice-Rector Emil Faure. They expressed wishes for growth and development, and gratitude to everyone involved in the faculty's life.
The program included: a performance by the band «D&T Project», screening of the film «Who am I?», a themed quest, and awarding of winners. All participants expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and called for support of the country’s defenders.
